In Australia, we have 3 offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth and around 220 team members. Description The role: We have a great opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join our team in Perth. This role is ideally suited to an organised, focused and hardworking Legal Assistant with great administration and file management skills to support the Partners in our Commodities team. As a high performing and enthusiastic Legal Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Diary management including meeting room bookings, restaurant bookings, arranging client appointments and phone conferences Matter management including opening new matters, drafting CCLs and fee estimates Expense reconciliation Assisting with event management for seminars Booking domestic and international travel via our agent, liaising with 3rd parties, applying for Visas and co-ordinating trips with other offices Complex document management including amendments to documents, using track changes and multiple document comparisons Liaison with clients, matter parties and consultants as well as internal and external stakeholders Monthly billing, liaising with Finance team, running debtor lists and debtor chase ups Skills And Experiences If you possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in a professional services or legal firm, this might be the role for you. Specifically, we seek for individuals who: Have experience with hourly billing Demonstrate a proven ability to maintain and build relationships Exhibit exceptional attention to detail Possess intermediate skills in MS Office Can effectively liaise with people at all levels Are highly organised Maintain strong professional communication, both written and verbal Are eager to learn and share their knowledge Prior experience with iManage and Elite is highly regarded but not essential What's in it for you?
