The Role: Disability Support Worker As a support worker, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to individuals with disabilities in the community. You will assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, manual handling, and mobility support. Additionally, you will be willing to travel for shifts and facilitate community access to enhance the lives of those you support. Mandatory Requirements: Previous experience in disability support Certificate 3 in Disability or equivalent qualification. Effective Communication and Ndis Worker Modules Current First Aid and CPR NDIS Worker Check NDIS Working with Children Check Police Check Administer Medication Current Drivers Licence and Car Insurance Ability to adapt to different environments and client needs. Key Responsibilities: Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support. Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities. Facilitate community access, including transportation to appointments, social events, and recreational activities. Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages independence and personal growth. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Pay Rates: Day Rate: $36.25 Afternoon Shift: $38 - $40.00 Night Shifts: $42.00 Saturday Shift: $52.50 per hour Sunday Shift: $62.00 per hour Why Join Us? Flexible working hours to fit your schedule.
