Why Your Role Matters: The School of Engineering and Technology is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to contribute to our groundbreaking work in the field of optical trapping and laser propulsion. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation in experimental techniques and contribute to advancing future optical technologies Who You Are (skills and experience): Our ideal candidate will have: A Ph.D. in Laser Physics, Optics, or a related field, with a strong focus on experimental research Extensive hands-on experience with optical trapping techniques, laser systems, and related instrumentation. Proficient in data analysis and experimental design using tools such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar software. Solid understanding of optical principles, including laser beam propagation, wave optics, and photonics. Knowledge of laser propulsion concepts and their application in micro- and nanoscale systems is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present research findings and collaborate effectively.
