Mechanical Engineer wanting to develop their technical aptitude, reverse engineering, engineering calculations, FEA & Stress Analysis. The Client: A growing Engineering company that designs special-purpose machinery for the mining and metals industry requires a Mechanical Engineer, an Engineering Graduate who has at least 12 months plus experience with 3d Solidworks or Inventor. Applicants will have a passion for R&D and new product development. Your job will be to offer design support, 3d designs will be produced to Australian design standards. Engineers who thrive in this company think outside the box, are good problem solvers, and enjoy reverse engineering (rotational equipment - medium to large). Key responsibilities: Support designs and drafts from initial concept through to production. Focus on power and tension designs for the products - hand calculations, perfect for those who enjoy pure math, physics, FEA, and CFD work. Detailed 3d component designs, and reverse engineering, those with fabrication experience do well / a good understanding of how something is built. Assist the junior draftsmen in the team. Compile reports and present them to the team when necessary. Strong focus on continuous improvement and understanding of AS standards.
