Lycopodium Minerals is currently looking for an experienced Field Engineers to work for our long-term mineral processing projects in Africa on a 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Field Engineer will provide specialist advice to ensure the project is delivered professionally and safely in line with Company, Client and industry requirements. The tasks you’ll perform: Ensuring that all the site Field Engineering services are up to a high standard in line with Company, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements. Manage the various work procedures, practices, and plans of the Field Engineering Services teams to ensure deliverables are met to a high-level of accuracy. Provide specialist advice and act as the primary contact for all project technical support, liaise with the engineering team to resolve issues and ensure deliverables are met. The expertise you’ll bring: University degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution is desired. Min 2 years' post graduate experience in Mineral Processing projects on remote sites or in the similar industry Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively supervise a diverse team. Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment. Provide mentoring and identify avenues of professional development. Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
