Sensational opp to join this ever-growing successful HRTech / EdTech as they journey from start-up to scale-up with now over 500 staff and 9 offices. Reporting t to the Engineering squad lead you will help design and develop features for our education and workforce solution products by working closely with various stakeholders including technical leads, product managers and product designers. The key accountabilities of the role • Develop working software across the full stack (end to end) according to requirements and development standards • Contribute to feature and solution design with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Assist the support and customer success team with diagnosing issues with the software and providing guidance or helping with appropriate fixes • Provide mentoring and guidance for junior developers in any areas of expertise • Continually improve domain and technical knowledge through professional development The key responsibilities of the role • Actively participate in agile ceremonies • Complete assigned development tasks • Raise blockers and issues associated with assigned tasks • Monitor support channels for customer issues and queries • Increase quality of the codebase • Mentor other developers • Review and provide constructive feedback of code from other developers • Deliver code with supporting technical documentation where required Expereince required: • Solid understanding of Ruby & NextJS • Good understanding of MVC development frameworks, such as Rails or ASP.NET • CSS, HTML and JavaScript Knowledge • An understanding of software version control, specifically with git • Knowledge of programming principles such as OOP and unit testing • Proficiency with any RDBMS (we use MySQL and SQL Server) Apply now Nicolle Hann-Dunbavin
