The Role: Lindsay Australia Limited is currently seeking a customer-focused Service Desk Engineer to be based at our Corporate Head Office in Acacia Ridge. Applicants must be able to demonstrate: The ability to responds to support requests from our 700 IT system users located in 36 company sites across Australia Experience and enjoyment in providing exceptional customer support and the ability to meet business service level expectations. Support requests will be submitted to you via a portal, email, phone call or walk-ups. Each support request requires analysis, categorisation, and prioritisation and is then assigned to yourself or other specialists within the team for resolution. The Service Desk is supported by infrastructure, application, database, and programming support resources within the team. The business operates 24x7, and an after-hours telephone support for business-critical issues on a rotational basis is a requirement of this role. Basic user support is not provided 24x7. About you: The individual we are looking for will need to be process driven to ensure that business procedures are followed, and support activities are correctly reflected in our ITSM system. Essential requirements: 3 years in a level 1 and 2 service desk role using a recognised ITSM for recording incidents Experience in managing self-performance against business SLA’s User accounts management in Active Directory and software applications Advanced knowledge of Microsoft O365 in a corporate environment Proficiency in using Mobile device management platforms and Telecommunications asset management tools Desktop support (Device, print, network) Application support and troubleshooting skills Ability to provide details to obtain pre-employment checks including a criminal history check. Desirable requirements: ITIL – Foundation certified Microsoft MCSE certified Experience using: Zendesk T-MDM T-Analyst TIPT Apple DEP IT Tertiary qualifications or other recognised qualifications Logistic and transport industry experience Previous employment in an organisation of 300 IT users The IT team promotes a customer-focused approach in its dealings with the business.
