About the Role: A permanent opportunity is available for an experienced and team-focused Infrastructure Engineer. Based at our Corporate Head Office in Acacia Ridge reporting directly to the Infrastructure Manager; this is a role that encourages professional development, technical excellence, and strategic thinking. You will be responsible for ensuring that IT systems are current, reliable, and secure. The environment consists of Data Centres and a multi-site WAN of over 36 sites across five Australian states. Lindsay Australia has been a showcase and reference site for vendors of market-leading IT Systems through the successful implementation and advanced utilisation of their productions and solutions. There are some exciting infrastructure projects in the pipeline and our new Infrastructure Engineer will play a pivotal part in the successful outcomes. Your main responsibilities will include: Assist in the planning, design, and operation of the company’s remote access infrastructure Configuration and administration of IT infrastructure hardware and software Build, manage, and troubleshoot multiple large company systems Install, configure, and manage the company’s internal and hosted servers Plan, design, implement, and continuously improve disaster recovery procedures for systems and domain services Monitor the company’s infrastructure to ensure that an optimal platform is provided Deliver infrastructure related projects Escalation point for the Service Helpdesk team as well as work closely with the Applications team The business operates 24x7 and a requirement of the role is to provide remote telephone based afterhours emergency support on a rotational basis. The IT team promotes a customer-focused approach in its dealings with the business. In order to support this approach, the successful applicant must have excellent interpersonal skills. About you: To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate: 5 years’ experience in an IT infrastructure support role Competence in network configuration and administration, particularly Cisco Meraki network devices VMware virtualisation administration experience Storage and backup solution management skills Gateway & endpoint security knowledge and expertise Administration of MS Office365, Exchange and Active Directory Microsoft Azure Intune Firewall and Security Microsoft Windows Servers SAN/NAS configuration and support Veeam Backup CISSP, CISCO, VMware, SCCP, Microsoft accreditation are highly regarded. Transport industry experience and previous roles supporting environments comprising a mixture SaaS and IaaS will be an advantage. IT Tertiary qualifications or other IT related qualifications to support your application will increase your chances of securing this role.
