The role is based in Eight Mile Plains, option to work on a hybrid work-from-home and in office model is on offer. The purpose of this role is to champion a high quality of compliant leadership practices for a team of Information and Technology specialists. You will be providing oversight of internal technology infrastructure, security, and applications to support provisions of vital services, data, and advice to the organisation. Working with a team of senior professionals, and reporting to the General Manager – Information and Technology, high level senior management experience is vital for this role. The major responsibilities of this position include: Execution of Technical Support and System Management experience to lead the design of ICT system architectures, installation configuration and maintenance of enterprise software, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks. Management of robust cyber security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems and system storage. Develop seamless application of our databases and systems, implementing Business Systems policies and procedures to ensure the company's technology infrastructure is secure, efficient, and reliable. Oversight of the Application Support Specialists and third party providers to ensure adherence to application development best practices. Champion a strong team culture, role modelling a positive, ethical and result driven team. Provide clear direction within your team and wider stakeholders through the org to nurture business relationships externally and internally. The salary for our ICT Engineering Manager position is subject to a market value evaluation and therefore salary will be discussed with the successful applicant. About you Being an adept ICT Leader, you will have sound system and leadership experience within in a corporate/ office background. You will articulate a highly focussed customer support-oriented work ethic and industry standards of best practices in emerging IT management. Experience working in the not for profit industry would be an advantage. To be considered in this position, you will possess: Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or extensive industry experience supported by industry training within a similar role. Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Microsoft Server 2016 and later, VMware, Microsoft Defender, Meraki, Fortigate and Nutanix systems, and hosted infrastructure platforms and software products such as MS SQL and PostgreSQL. Culturally fit experience in mentoring and enhancing the abilities of other ICT employees to achieve high performance contributions and service delivery.
