This Opportunity is instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the College’s information and communication technology infrastructure. The successful applicant will manage and maintain servers, networks, and other critical systems to support the college's educational and administrative needs. Required outcomes include implementing security measures, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support to staff and students. This position is key to enhancing the college's overall learning experience and operational efficiency. Key accountabilities include: Install, configure, and maintain the college’s hypervisor environment, ensuring this is secure, up-to-date, and optimised for performance. Administer and manage the college’s Microsoft 365 environment, including user accounts, email, collaboration, endpoint management, security and compliance tools. Implement and manage security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data encryption, to protect the college’s data and systems from cyber threats. Plan and execute upgrades to the college’s ICT systems, including hardware and software updates, to ensure they meet current and future needs. Provide technical support to staff and students, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues promptly. Maintain accurate documentation of the college’s ICT infrastructure, including network diagrams, system configurations, and user manuals. What you will need to succeed: Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as information technology (or equivalent) bachelor's degree. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage professionally and by Trinity College Values. Proven knowledge of network infrastructure, hypervisor & server management, and Microsoft 365 administration. Experience in implementing and managing security measures to protect ICT systems and data. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a natural ability to think creatively and laterally. Experience working within a complex technology environment. Ability to plan, execute, and manage ICT projects, including system upgrades and new implementations. Be committed to continuing professional development. Previous experience working in an educational environment is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders Exceptional attention to detail with a conscientious approach to managing multiple and complex tasks A strong sense of judgement and discretion with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity principles. Able to have a flexible approach to working out of hours to accommodate college needs and be able to work during school holidays.
