The Internal Sales Support role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the sales process. The role is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the sales team, managing customer enquiries, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records. The role will involve working closely with the Sales Team to facilitate seamless communication and support sales goals and initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Sales Coordination: Assist the sales team with scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing follow-ups. Customer Support: Address customer enquiries and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Data Entry: Maintain and update customer database, CRM, and relevant reports accurately. Reporting: Update and generate sales reports to provide insight and support decision-making for the sales team. Documentation: Prepare and manage sales documentation, including contracts, quotations, and proposals. Communication: Liaise between the sales team, customers, internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues. Business Development: Identify opportunities and new leads to refer to the Sales Team. Qualifications: Education: Qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales support or administrative role; experience in Construction Product Sales is advantageous. Skills: Strong organisational and multitasking skills; excellent written and verbal communication; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM systems and sales software. Knowledge of ACT Today CRM is advantageous. Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team; strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric attitude.
