Kevin Hackett Optometrist is a well-established and successful independent practice, operating in Geraldton for almost 40 years. We are known for providing high quality eyewear and exceptional customer service to the community of Geraldton and the Northwest. At Kevin Hackett Optometrist, we put our patient's eyes and eye care needs at the forefront of everything we do. Our team are highly experienced and have a genuine passion for caring for our patients. This is a critical role in our practice. As a Receptionist/Optical Assistant, you will be the first person our patients and customers are in contact with, therefore you will need to present a friendly, professional image and represent the ideals and culture of our practice. There will be further growth opportunities in practice as you are exposed to the day-to-day functions of our practice. About the role You will: Have worked in a similar role, ideally within the medical profession (experience in Optics is desired but not essential) Have a high level of customer / patient contact Work with the team to provide personalised solutions for our patients Have a high level of attention to detail and professionalism Handle all phone calls, including appointments and enquiries Handle accounts and banking General office and reception duties, such as stationery orders and stock management Utilise our Practice Management Software as well as Microsoft Office and Outlook Both a Full time and Part time role will be considered.
