Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction of renewable energy projects, specifically - wind, solar and energy storage. The Construction Project Manager will ensure these projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, contributing to the expansion of clean wind and solar energy generation. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning: develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, tailored to the unique requirements of wind and solar energy projects. Team Leadership: They will lead cross-functional project teams, collaborating with experts in wind and solar energy, including contractors and subcontractors, to achieve project objectives and uphold the commitment to sustainability. Quality Assurance: implement and maintain stringent quality control processes, ensuring that all construction work aligns with the highest industry standards for wind and solar energy. Cost Management: monitor project budgets, control expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising the quality of wind and solar energy projects. Risk Management: identifying potential risks specific to wind and solar energy projects and developing effective mitigation strategies to safeguard project success and safety is a key responsibility. Sustainability: ensuring that all construction activities adhere to sustainability and environmental standards, minimizing the environmental impact of wind and solar energy projects. Reporting: generating regular progress reports for internal stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, energy generation potential, and addressing potential challenges unique to wind and solar energy. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required. Proven track record as a Construction Project Manager, ideally with experience utility-scale energy projects . In-depth knowledge of construction management processes, methods, and industry regulations within the wind and solar energy sector is essential. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency in project management software is expected.
