The Opportunity Join Warrnambool Standard as a Sales Support in Warrnambool on a 9-month fixed term contract. Be part of Australian Community Media (ACM) to assist local businesses grow through advertising to a local audience. Our sales teams drive ACMs local growth strategy with best-in-class digital and print media channels, by excellence in media account management and customer service. Treat your portfolio as your own with a mix of existing customers and new business opportunities. About the role Provide support to the local sales team. Tasks include; process enquiries, manage a high volume of weekly bookings, creative and account tasks, inbound/outbound calls and emails, advertising and editorial placement and layout requests. Provide efficient and professional customer service at all times. Meeting publication and digital 'go live' deadlines with both internal and external stakeholders. Proactively contribute to sales initiatives and special features. The successful candidate will have Previous exposure in a sales support type role is highly desirable. Ability to form relationships with team members and external clients. Strong customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience or easily adaptable to learning how to operate CRM software, booking systems, presentations and proposals. High energy, self motivated and professional manner.
