THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for two dedicated and personable Sales Coordinator ( Lead Acquisition Coordinators) to join our team on a full-time, six month maximum term basis (with opportunity to extend) from our St Kilda Road Head Office. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting potential customers, nurturing leads, and guiding them through the sales funnel. Your goal is to build strong relationships, provide valuable information, and ultimately convert leads into customers. As a Sales Coordinator (Lead Acquisition Coordinator), some of your key responsibilities include: Make proactive outbound calls to potential customers, introducing them to our products and services while establishing a positive first impression. Engage with leads to understand their needs, answer inquiries, and provide relevant and accurate information to help them make informed decisions. Follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns, events, and other sources to ensure no opportunities are missed. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions within the CRM system, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accessible for the sales team. Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handover of leads, ensuring that each prospect is adequately followed up to maximise conversion rates. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the customer journey. Stay informed about the company’s products, services, promotions, to effectively communicate these to potential customers. Meet monthly targets for lead conversions and customer satisfaction, contributing directly to Simonds’s growth and success. WHO YOU ARE In order to be successful in this role, you will: Have strong sales, lead conversion, marketing and/or customer service experience. Have experience achieving and exceeding set sales targets and KPIs. Be flexible, adaptable and self-motivated in your approach to work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly and easily. Understand what delivering exceptional customer service across a diverse customer group entails. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Be able to work independently and as part of a team. Have solid IT literacy, with prior use of a CRM desirable. Prior exposure to the construction industry or new home sales highly desirable.
