MacKillop Education Waranara is a Specialist Assistance School that caters for students from Years 9-12 who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from mainstream education. It provides the opportunity for Young People who are experiencing mental health issues and significant life challenges to re-engage with education. This is a permanent Fulltime position based at Waranara School in Annandale commencing in Term 1 (January) 2025. About the role: We are excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Science Teacher stage 5, with the opportunity to teach PE and Stage 5 Maths. Working with a highly skilled team, this position will work to develop and deliver effective and engaging evidence-based learning programs suited to our students' diverse needs, while meeting the requirements of the NSW curriculum. Your role will be central to engaging a supportive and effective learning environment. Key Selection Criteria: Experienced Teacher, preferably for NSW curriculum. Bachelor's degree in education. Demonstrate a well-being trauma informed approach to students Highly organised with lesson plans, marking, registers and reports. Ability to be flexible and work as part of a small team.
