Cohort Staffing is a provider of professional staff to Felicity Holistic Care. About the role: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Disability Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in aged care, adept at adhering to meal management plans, and skilled in conducting hoist transfers. In this role, you will be a part of a proficient team at a SIL House, where you will support clients in their daily activities, manage personal care requirements, and help with medication administration. Responsibilities and Duties: Adhere to a regular roster, including weekends and sleepovers. Follow care plans and procedures meticulously. Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and incident reports. Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour. Follow care plans and procedures meticulously. Essential Skills and Experience: At least 1-year full time work experience undertaken in Australia in Health, Aged Care or Disability Services. A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Nursing, Individual Support or Aged Care. The use of assistance equipment, including manual and electric hoists, manual and electric wheelchairs, and/or other adaptive items. Providing all aspects of personal care, including showering and toileting. Administering and prompting medication compliance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated understanding of following stipulated procedures. Licence/Certifications: Current First Aid & CPR Certificate or the ability to obtain one (Essential). Satisfactory Working with Children's Check (Employee) or the ability to obtain one (Essential). Current Driver’s Licence, your own car, and comprehensive/third-party insurance (Essential). NDIS Worker Screening Check ID or the ability to obtain one (Essential). NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate (Preferred). Infection Control training certificate (Preferred).
