Customer Service/Internal Sales experience, within the Electrical or Industrial Automation space is ESSENTIAL The company Our client is a well-known and trusted national distributor of industrial low and medium voltage electrical and automation products. The position As an Internal Sales Representative the role will require your technical electrical competence matched with customer service skills. You will need to be an excellent communicator, organised, and can prioritise and consistently exceed customer expectations. Duties include: Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers. Responding promptly to customer enquiries through the company ticketing system. Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities. Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints and escalating customer enquiries to relevant internal teams. Supporting the external sales function when required - processing orders, preparing quotes or delivery follow ups. Skills & experience required: Previous experience in a customer service/internal sales role is ESSENTIAL. LV electrical and/or automation knowledge is ESSENTIAL. Experience with CRM systems. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Willingness to work as part of a team, to learn and create solutions. Benefits: Negotiable base salary (dependant on experience) plus super.
