The Role As a Technology Infrastructure Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's technology infrastructure landscape and tools. This position is pivotal in providing technical support, driving improvements, executing projects, and mentoring junior members of our technology support team. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications: Responsibilities Design and Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust technology solutions, including network systems, Active Directory, servers, storage, endpoints, security, and related hardware and software; Microsoft 365: Maintain expertise in Microsoft 365, including Office365 (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange), Entra ID, and Azure; Maintenance and Optimisation: Ensure ongoing performance, security, and scalability of our technology platform. Regularly assess and optimise systems to meet business requirements and adhere to best practices; Projects and Initiatives: Participate in project-based initiatives such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments; SD-WAN Rollouts: Experience with SD-WAN deployments, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting; Network Refresh Projects: Involved in network refresh projects to ensure seamless transitions and improved efficiency; Technical Support: Provide end-to-end technical support to staff and troubleshoot technology-related issues; and Escalation Point: Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues, collaborating with the support team. Mentor and coach junior technical team members. This role is instrumental in maintaining high standards of operational excellence within our technology support framework, driving technical improvements, and contributing to the success of our organisation. Key Technical Skills Proficient in managing M365 and O365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams); Proven track record in managing Active Directory (users, policies etc.) and comprehensive understanding of its architecture; Knowledge and experience in Cloud-based identity and access management (IAM) using Microsoft Entra ID; Familiarity with IAM concepts (role-based access control, identity lifecycle management). Experience with Intune and/or other mobile device management (MDM) and endpoint security; Proficient in deploying and managing MS Azure services; and Sound knowledge of security technologies and principles such as next generation firewalls, content security, Zero Trust principles, SASE, SD-WAN, MDR/NDR.
