ABOUT THE ROLE Apex Radiology at the Peel Health Campus is seeking a part time Receptionist for 24 hours per week to be of part our experienced team and as the face of our organisation as you deliver on the highest standards of services to patients, referrers and community. Your days of work will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Your responsibilities will include: -First impression of the practice as you meet and greet patients at the front desk. -Answer the telephone and respond to patient enquiries in an efficient and sensitive manner -Make a patient booking while maximising appointment slots -Inform the patient of relevant preparation, exam cost, and requirement to present relevant concession cards. -Registering patient referrals on arrival and departure ensuring accounts are settled -Batching Medicare and Veterans claims daily where necessary -To be a member of the Mandurah team environment ABOUT YOU -Previous medical receptionist experience - Medical Imaging or GP or Allied Health -Experience using patient entry or bookings system highly regarded -Excellent interpersonal skills in order to show patients care, compassion and empathy -Understanding of medical imaging terminology -Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team -Excellent keyboard skills for data entry into RIS system -EFTPOS and cash handling skills FOR YOU -Part time hours with stable company -Be part of a leading professional company -Specialist expertise and chance to expand your medical terminology and knowledge -Uniforms and free parking provided -Expert trainers who have the ability to share their years of knowledge and experience HOW TO APPLY Interested?
