Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to manage their Service Centre and oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfilment, logistics coordination, and workplace safety. The role involves ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of educational materials across Australia and New Zealand, while maintaining a positive and efficient working environment for the team. Your New Role As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for Warehouse & Logistics Operations Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, and packing; Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards; Manage the logistics of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring timely order fulfilment; Coordinate transportation of materials and liaise with couriers for efficient deliveries; Supervise warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, to maintain safety and efficiency; Address operational issues and implement corrective actions; and Maintain administrative processes, including order processing, stock records, and warehouse maintenance. Stock Control & Management Manage and adjust inventory levels to meet operational needs; Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate stock records; Oversee the monthly ordering of educational materials and coordinate with suppliers; Handle customs clearance for incoming shipments when required; and Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Team Development & Leadership Lead, motivate, and support the growth of team members to ensure efficient warehouse and logistics operations; Foster a positive working environment and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders; Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategies for improved warehouse operations; and Assist in budget preparation for the division. To qualify for this role, you must have Relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, and inventory management; Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with technology; Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams; Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities; Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment; and Collaborative mindset and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
