Webcentral is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer for a global role, with a specific focus on supporting Webcentral staff based in Australia. This position, based in Brisbane, will serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT queries within the region as part of a global team. The role emphasizes providing excellent support, ensuring that services and solutions are configured and deployed appropriately, and maintaining high standards across all IT infrastructure responsibilities. This role also requires travel to all our locations, including Melbourne and Sydney. Key Responsibilities: • Provision, manage, and support End User Computing (EUC) in line with company standards. • Design and implement changes to IT infrastructure or deploy new solutions and services. • Assist with end-user onboarding and training through knowledge sharing and documentation. • Collaborate with vendors and partners globally to procure required hardware. • Manage user access rights and security procedures to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data. • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to enhance eFiciency. • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, systems, and configurations. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior IT staF. Essential Experience: • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 - Entra (Azure AD), Teams, Outlook Online, SharePoint. • Proficiency in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) including deployment to Windows. • Solid understanding of best practices in IT infrastructure. • Experience deploying MFA/Conditional Access within Microsoft 365. • Proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects from inception to completion. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues. • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or a related field. Desirable Experience: • Experience with Linux Desktop OS (Ubuntu). • Experience deploying Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) to MacOS/Linux. • Scripting experience with modern languages (PowerShell/Python). • Familiarity with network infrastructure and security protocols. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud. • Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, CompTIA Network). Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, CompTIA Network) are highly desirable.
