About the role and you: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior IT Support Engineer with expertise in broadcast production applications (playout, automation, scheduling, and studio applications) and corporate applications (email, Active Directory, Azure, SharePoint, firewall, switching, and routing) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and uptime of our Corporate and Broadcast IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving improvements to our systems and processes. You will also support end users and stakeholders. This is a demanding and rewarding opportunity for an individual with a passion for technology and a commitment to excellence. The Role: Provide advanced technical support for a wide range of broadcast and IT systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues, both independently and collaboratively with internal teams and vendors. Implement and maintain preventative maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability. Manage and document technical solutions, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuous improvement. Perform system upgrades and installations, ensuring efficient and seamless transitions. Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices through ongoing training and development. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective technical support. Document technical processes and procedures to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate we are looking for will: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Broadcast/IT Support Engineer or related role. Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. Strong understanding of broadcast technology, including video, audio, routing, and control systems. Proficiency in IT networking and server administration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. In-depth knowledge of broadcast systems and equipment. Proficiency in IT networking and server administration (Windows, Linux). Experience with troubleshooting broadcast software applications. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices. Experience with cloud computing technologies. Scripting and automation skills. Experience with network security and protocols.
