The role will provide direction and guidance during planning and execution test phases, coordinating the production of test results like strategy inputs, preparation of test scripts and keeping track of the test schedule. The day to day Introducing, encouraging automation and implementing automation within the testing team. Oversight of the accurate logging, managing of defects, the preparation of daily summary reports and test results for all relevant project business partners. Development and maintenance of repository for project documentation and automation scripts including tight version control. Tracking of progress to published schedule and owning any potential risks to schedule to Test Manager. Detailed methodical analysis, logging and updating defects in a timely fashion. Writing, presenting and co-ordinate signoff of Test results documentation. Successful delivery of testing efforts in respect of schedule, cost and quality. Why you are our next Quality Assurance Engineer An IT or related tertiary qualification and 3 years Technical Test and test automation experience. Substantial programming experience in Java, Swift, Ruby, VB, web services, mobile and web test automation frameworks. Significant experience in virtualization, Test tool management, Automation and Performance technologies. Expert knowledge of quality improvement, quality process, quality assurance methodologies and testing technologies and tools such as Code Scanner, Jmeter or Loadrunner. Good knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases. Excellent digital literacy with standard operation tools, high attention to detail, presentation and communication abilities.
