Alliance Airline is growing our team and seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Support Engineer. The Role As an IT Support Engineer, you will join a small IT support team, located at our HQ at Brisbane Airport Hangers and will be providing front-line day to day support to Pilots, Flight Crew, Aircraft Engineers/Bases and Corporate Support Services. You will be supporting our 1200 users and 2000 endpoints (windows & iOS) across 8 bases within a 24/7 environment. The IT Support Engineer is responsible for, but not limited to: End User Compute (SOE, patch, build, deployment and asset/licence procurement) Provide technical support on IT hardware/software, business applications & processes PowerShell scripting and automation/orchestration experience Troubleshoot IT issues, root cause analysis and implement solutions Advanced EntraID/AD and Group Policy Administration Intune Device and Configuration Policy Administration Incident & Event Outage planning and communications Contribute to and deliver continuous improvement across processes and procedures in order to enhance services and support. A supportive and enthusiastic individual who performs exceptionally well, and strives for excellence with quality standards Skills & Experience Performed IT Support with a string focus in End User Compute in a previous role Experience in supporting 24/7 operations and understands business impact ITSM & Device Management Toolsets (eg KACE, ManageEngine, VMWare UEM, Intune) Solid technical skills in computer hardware, peripherals, telephony and VC Solid understanding of Windows and iOS operating systems and devices Solid experience with Microsoft 365 platform and technologies Solid experience within MS Exchange Online, Entra/AD, DNS, DHCP Proficient in finding solutions to problems Excellent communication skills ‘Can-do’ Attitude Show reliability, motivation and readiness to work in an environment with shifting priorities and pressure A self-starter, who can work remote from the broader team and takes initiative and delivers results Relevant certifications in IT, ITIL, CompTIA etc Microsoft (Azure, 365 Certified, MCSE, MCSA, MCITP etc) (Desirable) If you're passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and driven to continuously improve and bring solutions with a positive 'can-do' attitude, apply today This is a 100% on-site position (5 days a week) and participation in the weekly after-hours on-call roster is required (Every 7-8 weeks).
