About the Role We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who will be required to ensure optimum customer service and satisfaction through an innovative approach in the development of packaging and processing machinery and systems, utilising electrical engineering principles. You will be reporting to the Product Development Manager - Automation and be based in our head office at Sydney Olympic Park. We accept applications from overseas (Preferably from UK, Europe and Asia) . Key Responsibilities The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for: Design, Control, test and implement tna products. Developing programs for systems or equipment. Providing support to different stakeholders, both within and without the company Ensure conformance to tna and international standards for machinery and turnkey systems. Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 9 years’ experience in a similar position Exposure to the manufacturing industry (specifically food & beverage or packaging) is advantageous. Thorough understanding of electrical concepts, computers, and software Knowledge & experience with AutoCAD Electrical and PLC/HMI programming Knowledge of Australian and International standards Knowledge of machinery safety concepts and requirements Ability to write well structured, documented, and reusable code. Ability to read and interpret electrical Schematics. Ability to problem solve. Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team. High level of English language proficiency, both written and verbal Overseas travel will be required. Why work with us?
