Unique opportunity to accelerate your development in a leading organisation This role is ideal for someone who is early in their career Ability to support the corporate governance activities of a ASX10 listed company Flexible and supportive work environment Full-time permanent position based in Perth CBD About the team At Wesfarmers, our Company Secretariat team is responsible for ensuring the effective governance and corporate statutory compliance of the Wesfarmers Group entities, including: Corporate governance, compliance and reporting; Supporting the effective and efficient functioning of Boards and Committees for our businesses; and Shareholder and Investor services. What you’ll do In this role, you will provide administrative and secretarial support to our Assistant Company Secretaries and the wider team, assisting the team to ensure compliance with relevant statutory obligations and requirements. Key responsibilities include: Prepare high quality documents, including board and committee meeting agendas, board papers, minute templates and reviewing and formatting minutes Manage shareholder enquires and other general correspondence Provide general support in relation to the Annual and Half-year results, Annual General Meeting and management of Wesfarmers Share Registry Assist with lodging announcements with the ASX Coordinate compliance training Diary management, organising meetings and coordination of post meeting actions, travel arrangements and other general administration What you’ll need At least 2 years’ experience in providing administrative support within a corporate environment A positive attitude with a passion for ongoing learning and improving processes Well-developed written and verbal communication skills High level of attention to detail Strong time management and organisational skills Ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team A high level of confidentiality and integrity Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite Nice to haves Experience in a legal or professional services environment Experience in using a document management system (NetDocuments or similar) Internal position title: Coordinator, Company Secretariat About Wesfarmers As one of Australia’s largest listed companies, we’re proud of our longstanding contribution to Australians.
