Support with documenting children’s learning, development, interests and abilities, including setting individual and group goals. Work according to the Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and curriculum frameworks. Develop and maintain positive relationships with and between children, families and educators. Initiate and promote warm and intentional interactions with children Assist with documenting children’s learning both individually and as part of a group. Contribute to the development and delivery of curriculum within the learning program. Skills & Experience Certificate III/Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent, Bachelor Early Childhood Education or equivalent, as recognised by the Department of Education and in accordance with the Education and Care National Law Act 2010 & the Education and Care National Services Regulations 2011; Relevant experience in working in children’s services in line with Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and curriculum frameworks. Demonstrated understanding of Victoria’s Child Safe Standards; Ability to establish and maintain strong professional relationships with children, families and colleagues Ability to self-manage work requirements in liaison with room team and supervisor; and, Hold a current and valid: Working With Children Check and/or VIT Registration, First Aid Level 2, CPR Certificate, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management certificates.
