About the role This an amazing role for a professional to join one of Tonkin’s dynamic engineering teams, as we have experienced growth in our Adelaide office. Working in an environment that encourages innovation and high performance, you will have the opportunity to utilise your expertise by managing projects, guiding staff and maintaining quality outcomes across on a diverse range of civil engineering projects. The key responsibilities of the role will include: Apply your technical expertise on a range of civil engineering projects. Collaborate with other Tonkin team members and external stakeholders to develop complex engineering solutions. Proactively communicate with clients and other stakeholders on technical matters and issues. Complete design calculations, documentation, technical reports, specifications and contract documents to meet client and authority requirements. Carry out technical reviews of outputs prior to issue. Provide project guidance and technical advice to emerging engineers. Maintain strong relationships with Clients, piers and industry groups. Communicate with contractors and subconsultants. Understand Statutory requirements and appropriate Standards, and how these may impact upon the scope and extent of the project. Identify and assess project risks and communicate these to the project team.
