Full-time Civil Engineering Draftsperson position available in Bibra Lake, WA 6163 Full-time Civil Engineering Draftsperson position available in Bibra Lake, WA 6163 On behalf of FPM Landscapes, a leading company specialized in the design, construction, and maintenance of inspirational commercial and residential outdoor projects, we are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our team on a full-time basis (38 hours per week). Our portfolio includes a wide range of projects such as landscape architecture, outdoor living spaces, structural enhancements, and infrastructure development The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming design concepts into detailed technical drawings and plans, collaborating that all projects are accurate, functional and compliant with relevant standards and regulations. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Create precise technical drawings and plans for various outdoor projects, including site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, and structural elements. Work with engineers, designers, project managers and landscapers to develop and refine design and drawings concepts, ensuring they are feasible and practical for construction. Verify that all drawings and plans comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations, including safety and environmental guidelines. Make necessary adjustments to drawings based on feedback from architects, designers, engineers, and clients, ensuring that all revisions are accurately documented. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including technical reports, specifications, and material lists. Proficiently use CAD software to produce high-quality drawings and3D models, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Participate in site visits to gather data, take measurements, and verify conditions, translating this information into accurate and detailed drawings. Keep up to date with industry trends, new materials, and construction techniques to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the work. Qualifications and Skills: Diploma or higher qualification in Civil Engineering Drafting or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting for civil engineering projects, preferably in outdoor commercial and residential construction. Advanced skills in CAD software, with the ability to produce both 2D and 3D drawings. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise and accurate technical drawings. Solid knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $70,000 - $95,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
