About Us Netball WA (NWA) is the peak state sporting organisation responsible for the governance, development, promotion and administration of netball throughout Western Australia, and its organisation includes Glass Jar Australia (GJA). The Role Are you a detail-oriented HR enthusiast with a knack for organisation? Join our dynamic HR team and become the backbone of our HR operations. As the HR Administration Officer, you’ll support everything from recruitment to onboarding, ensuring smooth HR operations across NWA and GJA. Your Responsibilities • Support our HR Department in various administrative tasks. • Assist with end-to-end recruitment and draft employment contracts. • Manage HR email inbox and maintain the HR Information System. • Coordinate onboarding/offboarding processes, including IT setup. • Maintain IT Assets register and improve operational systems. • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with legislation. • Contribute to a high-performance culture and support NWA values. • Represent NWA professionally and support special projects. Qualifications and Experience • Relevant experience (minimum 2 years) in a related field of employment, focus on recruitment • Solid understanding of HR and IR legislation, strong negotiation, and communication skills. • Ability to prioritize, work independently and in a team, and maintain confidentiality. • WA Working with Children Check (WWCC) • At all times ensure a Child Safe environment • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children • Comply with the Netball Australia Member Protection Policy and Child Safeguarding Policy • Comply with the WA Working with Children Check (WWCC) Legislation which means: • If your usual duties involve, or are likely to involve, contact with a child under 18 you will be required to obtain a WWCC; • If you fall into a WWCC exemption category a National Police Clearance Certificate is required What We Offer To achieve our vision of becoming ‘the best on and beyond the court’, NWA’s goal is to become the employer of choice within the industry.
