About the role: We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to join our Perth based team. The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering you will lead and oversee the electrical, instrumentation and control engineering team, driving the design and development, and implementation for various projects ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency. Brief duties: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the electrical, instrumentation and control engineering team, setting clear objectives and priorities aligned with project requirements and company goals. Manage and mentor a team of electrical, instrumentation and control engineers and designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Allocate resources effectively, delegate tasks and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of projects and the professional development of team members. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensure alignment with project goals and specifications. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to address them proactively and minimise impact on project timelines and outcomes. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the electrical, instrumentation and control engineering team, to ensuring that design solutions meet project requirements, industry standards and best practices. Review and approve electrical, instrumentation and control designs, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements and client expectations. Collaborate with cross function teams to integrate electrical, instrumentation and control designs seamlessly into overall project plans. Conduct regular audits and reviews of electrical, instrumentation and control engineering activities to verify adherence to quality standards, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, vendors and regulatory agencies, servicing as the primary contact for electrical, instrumentation and control engineering matters. Communicate effectively with stakeholders through presentations, reports, and meetings, providing updates on project progress, milestones and key decisions.
