Role requirements PSA Engineering is seeking applications for the position of Senior Electrical Engineer with demonstrated experience in designing control panels, motor control centres (MCC), and switchboards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of electrical design principles and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. Key Responsibilities: • Engineering and design of control panels and MCC/switchboards for various industrial applications • General arrangement diagrams, electrical schematics and single line diagrams for control panels and MCC/Switchboards • Power system analysis, including fault protection, and arc flash studies • Calculations and report writing • Establish and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders • Testing and commissioning of electrical and instrumented systems. Qualification and competency requirements: • Bachelor of Engineering • Minimum 8 years’ experience in similar role • RPEQ accreditation (or eligibility to apply) • Strong understanding of Australian Standards (E.g. AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008.1) • Experience using electrical software such as PTW, ETAP or PowerCAD • LV design experience including protection studies, MCC design and electrical calculations • Experience in interfacing with instrumentation and control systems • Ability to contribute to electrical estimates and execution schedules.
