About the Role We're on the lookout for software engineers/senior software engineers and tech leads (Laravel & VueJS) to play a key role in developing our internal product. You'll work with our team of engineers to deliver new features and enhancements. It's a chance to apply your technical know-how in a real-world setting, making a tangible impact on the project's success. In this role, you'll combine creativity with technical skills to help design and implement solutions. Your experience will be crucial in navigating the complexities of full stack development, ensuring both the front-end and back-end work harmoniously to create a robust and scalable product. Responsibilities Develop features and improvements to the Trilogy Care product in a secure, well-tested, and performant manner Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment Solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Recognise impediments to our efficiency as a team (“technical debt”), propose and implement solutions Respond professionally and promptly to investigate and resolve support requests Advocate for improvements to product quality, risk security, and performance that have particular impact across your team through code review Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate complex technical, architectural, and/or organisational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions Experience with performance and optimization problems, particularly at large scale, and a demonstrated ability to diagnose and prevent these problems Help define and improve our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Consistently ship features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects Requirements Significant professional experience with Laravel (PHP), VueJs, SQL databases, Git, API development A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts Ability to facilitate a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organisational skills Demonstrated ability to work closely with other departments of the organisation Computer science education or equivalent experience Experience in a peak performance organisation, preferably a tech startup Trilogy Benefits New and expansive King Street office with excellent facilities, close to multiple transport options, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets.
