Software Engineer ( 518303) Great opportunity to contribute to the digital enablement of People & Culture. Further develop your Software Engineering skills. Full-time (Level 7 FTE) appointment on fixed term basis to 28 Feb 2025. Base salary range: $100,524 – $111,534 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation. About the area UWA is making significant investments in the Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals. UWA is also looking to utilise technology advancements to expand its services and create new and innovative teaching and research models. Robust, flexible, integrated and agile enterprise architecture, information and technology services are vital to enabling the university strategic objectives. About the opportunity You will operate independently and be responsible for ensuring that the solutions are created and maintained in alignment with best practice and internal standards. You will work on business as usual and continuous improvement initiatives as well as work with project services team members on project delivery. Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, engaging with internal business customers, eliciting software requirements and to research, build, test, support and document solutions. About you Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency Relevant experience with developing, implementing, integrating, and maintaining application systems. Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle with an emphasis on analysis and development. ITIL Certification or demonstrated experience in ITIL processes is desirable. A strong understanding of People and Culture staff resources forms and processes.
