TIMG is on the lookout for a Backup Engineer to join our growing site in Bunbury. We deliver top-notch backup and recovery solutions to Australian businesses, ensuring they’re protected from ransomware, enjoy cost-effective data storage, and have hassle-free management. About your role: • You will be responsible for providing technical infrastructure support to our client backup environment • Troubleshooting any issues • Design and implement data protection solutions for enterprise clients. • Protect VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS and others. • Design and implement disaster recovery systems to maintain client uptime • Implement strategies to maintain client defined retention policies. About you: • Have a minimum of two years of technical experience in a Network & Server Engineer role (MSP experience preferred) • Experience supporting a corporate technology network • Will have relevant technical/tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience and skills. • Knowledge of Hypervisor (VCloud/VMWare/Hyper-V) & Windows Server operating systems • Strong technical experience in Business continuity and disaster recovery (Shadow Protect, Veeam) • Strong technical proficiency implementing, supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft operating environments. • High level of service and attention to detail. • Expert problem-solving and time management skills • Participate in an on-call roster for afterhours support About your new team: Your new team is one of the smaller teams across TIMG, but very mighty The team consists of technicians, engineers, developers and sales staff.
