About the Opportunity Reporting to the Engineering Manager at our Altona plant, you will support the plant through the resolution of operational issues, maintaining PlantPax and Factory Talk systems, ongoing continuous improvement support, assisting and leading projects, assisting the electrical staff when required, and conducting training and support for the plant electrical staff. Key responsibilities: Reviewing and implementing continuous process improvement of production equipment including troubleshooting of electrical systems, PLC programming and update or creation of HMI screens to achieve desired outcomes. Lead key projects onsite, including obtaining quotes, compiling all aspects of documentation, installing and commissioning equipment and programming. Creating/updating electrical drawings Maintaining plant servers and associated networking systems About You To thrive in this role, you will be a go-getter and problem-solver with a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering and have previous experience working as an Electrical Engineer, especially in an industrial setting. You will also need high-level communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a larger team. With great time management skills, you will be adaptable and able to react quickly to changing situations. PLC advanced knowledge and Wiring Diagram experience essential and advanced knowledge in VSD and frequency converters is also required. Most importantly, you will have a can-do attitude towards learning new things, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work and make sound decisions under pressure.
