Full time opportunity for an experience storeperson with a forklift licence for ongoing role in Mt Cotton. Excellent Reputable Company. StaffCo has partnered with one of Queensland’s biggest poultry processing factories and is currently seeking to employ a Dry Store Warehouse Operator in Mt Cotton. This role is Monday to Friday 3am-11.06am We have immediate starts available. This role may commence as permanent or begin as casual for a few weeks then transfer to permanent. This role does require a forklift licence with previous experience as a forklift operator. Duties and Responsibilities: Unloading and loading of trucks from suppliers Storing incoming stock in appropriate bin bay locations Notify procurement and quality when defective products are found on deliveries or during routine stock counts. Isolate defective stock and place HOLD sticker on product. Ensure allergens protocols are followed – handling, storage and Check date sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal or transfer of product as needed. Daily picking of next day ingredient and packaging requirements for transfer to day store. Daily inventory review to production plan advising Warehouse Supervisor of any actual or pending shortages. Cycle counting, performing counts, and ensuring all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy. Maintain safe work practices and compliance to company OH&S Policy. Maintain quality control and compliance to company Quality Policy. Qualifications / Skills / Attributes: 2 years’ experience in an storeman or inventory control role or similar A current forklift licence – high reach experience advantageous Well-developed problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent Time management Strong computer skills Be reliable and punctual. Have a great attitude towards learning. FMCG industry exposure is desirable.
