They assist with low-income, marginalised or disadvantaged consumers who need help to solve problems and gain greater financial freedom Role; This newly created role will focus on supporting First Nations people who have come into financial difficulty. This is a multi-faceted strategic role that provides leadership to the team, ensuring that the service is well positioned to promote access to justice for vulnerable First Nations peoples experiencing financial distress and to promote systemic change for the benefit of First Nations peoples. The Director is also responsible to oversee all other functions of program, including but not limited to media, publications, community education, service promotion and community engagement. Criteria; Have a passion for social justice, especially for improving outcomes for First Nations peoples Have experience in leading, training, mentoring and managing the performance of teams and individual staff Have strong experience in strategic management and comfortable functioning at an executive level Commitment to quality service provision and demonstrated experience successfully overseeing client service delivery Be a lawyer with an unrestricted NSW Practicing Certificate or be eligible to hold an unrestricted NSW Practicing Certificate.
