Our roles can be performed remotely, from our offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or Newcastle, or a combination of both. The role The Source Employment team is comprised of over 15 specialist employment and safety lawyers who have had top tier experience and extensive in-house experience, making us a leading national firm in this area of law and practice. In addition to our employment law practice, our employee relations service is a newly created, but fast growing, service line that is being taken up by some of Australia’s best-known brands. Due to growth and client demand, we have an opening for a mid-level employment lawyer who has also worked (or has an interest in) moving into employee relations. In this role, you would do high-quality work in a unique in-house style position, across sectors and clients of various sizes, with no billable hour or timesheet requirements. This role can be performed remotely or from our offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Newcastle, or a combination of both. We are open to full time or part time (three days minimum). About you We’re looking for someone that: Has 3 years post admission experience as a specialist employment lawyer, gained in high-calibre private practice and/or in-house roles. Ideally, who has also worked in an employee relations role (or is wanting to move into employee relations). Is experienced working in a corporate environment and can think strategically at an enterprise level. Is a highly commercial and business-minded lawyer, and comfortable giving pragmatic and definitive in-house style advice without ‘sitting on the fence’. Is a self-starter who can work quickly and efficiently, without over-complicating things. Has outstanding client management skills and is passionate about delivering the best client experience possible. Is a very effective and collaborative team-player. Has an entrepreneurial and innovative mind-set.
