Lindsay Rural are currently seeking a Customer Service/Storeperson for our Bundaberg branch About the Company: The Lindsay Australia Group proudly operates an extensive Rural and National Transport and Logistics business across various locations connecting growers, regional communities and businesses with cities and sellers of fresh food across Australia. As part of the group Lindsay Rural supplies farmers with an extensive range of agricultural products including packaging, fertilisers, chemicals, and irrigation equipment. The integrated end-to-end rural solutions package also provides customers with the benefits of utilising Lindsay Transport’s refrigerated fleet to deliver rural supplies to farms and transporting fresh produce direct to major east coast markets. The Role: We are seeking a Customer Service/Storeperson to join our Lindsay Rural team in Bundaberg. This is a full-time position, start time to be negotiated with the right candidate. Your main responsibilities will include: Counter / store front sales and service Take customer orders and payments in person or over the phone where required Building relationships with customers and providing advice on products Check stock against paperwork, reporting any missing stock Correctly receiving stock into AX Record chemicals as per Lindsay Rural procedures Put stock away in correct locations Conduct stock counts when requested as per company procedures Maintain cleanliness of Lindsay Rural Site Load and unload vans and other vehicles Deliver and unload merchandise to rural worksites (if licensed) About you: The candidates we are looking for will have: Knowledge of & experience with the use of manual pallet jacks Have a commitment to workplace health and safety. Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills. Have a strong customer focus. Good computer skills Must have a current forklift license or be willing to obtain one A current unrestricted HR/HC/MC licence will be well regarded Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test.
