Job Description APS4 Legal Support Officer 3-month contract with possibility of extension | Darwin Location | $46.39 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation OVERVIEW Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Legal Support Officer to join their team at the APS4 level. Within this role you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders on moderately complex operational and administrative matters, resolve moderately complex enquiries from stakeholders and provide information and advice as a representative of the work area. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Office administration activities (including financial management, procurement, facilities management, property administration, and security administration). Case administration and court preparation activities. Business and digital litigation systems support. Court liaison and diary management. Executive support including secretariat services. Records management. Building rapport and maintaining internal and external relationships. Responding to enquiries and providing accurate advice in a timely manner. Identifying and escalating issues to senior team members. Undertaking appropriate learning and development activities as required. EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS Strong focus on delivery in a professional services environment. Provide appropriate advice in an area of professional or technical specialisation. Strong attention to detail. Actively respond flexibly and positively to work changes and shifting priorities. Well-developed time management skills. Excellent collaboration skills – within team and internal and external stakeholders. Actively participates in decision-making and identifies potential solutions for key problems. Excellent application of judgement, initiative, and drive. Strong communication skills.
