Mechanical Design Draftsman Are you an experienced Mechanical Draftsman that is looking for your newest challenge? We are looking for a specialist individual to join a local OEM that produces mobile equipment for the mining industry. 6 to 12 months contract possibly longer pending performance Work with a local OEM renowned for its innovation and quality in the heavy industry sector Autodesk Inventor and Vault is essential Immediate start for the right candidate Key Responsibilities: Create detailed mechanical drawings and designs using Autodesk Inventor and Vault Collaborate with a team of engineers and draftsmen to ensure accurate and high-quality outputs Work closely with the workshop to detail designs and ensure manufacturability Modify and update existing designs to meet project specifications Ensure all drafts meet industry standards and project requirements Requirements: Proven experience as a designer within the heavy industry Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Vault Excellent teamwork and communication skills Experience working in collaboration with engineering teams and workshops High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Availability for an immediate start Why this role?
