You will be assisting the high functioning IT team with system administrative roles whilst taking charge of implementing a new project throughout the business. The project will require transition work, not affecting day to day operations, rather implementing something new. Description The Key responsibilities for this role include but are not restricted to: Maintain, Improve & Administer various ICT business systems Maintain, Improve & Administer ICT infrastructure (storage/network/virtual/server) Maintain, Improve & Administer Cloud infrastructure and systems Resolve outages and incidents from identification, analysis, communication & remediation Work collaboratively across all parts of the business to understand, analyse and deliver ICT Operational aspects of business objectives supported by the ICT Operations team Tracking projects, problems, tasks and incidents from creation until completion following guidance in appropriate systems Provide support to the ICT support team; escalate to the Team Leader systems or ICT Operations manager as appropriate Maintain awareness of and follow policies & ICT Operational procedures Participate in team activities - regular catchups, planning, reviews, etc. Undertake other duties as reasonably required by the Team Leader systems or ICT Operations manager as necessary Profile The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following: 5 years' experience in an ICT Operations team technical (administrator or above) role in a corporate or MSP environment, maintaining business systems, infrastructure & cloud 3 years' experience in delivering ICT projects - planning, implementing and maintaining Strong understanding & experience in networking, SAN (prefer netapp) & virtual (prefer VMWare) environments Experience in maintaining & supporting Windows & Active Directory, Linux, desktop, laptop & mobile platforms Strong understanding & experience in cloud environments (m365 Hybrid & Azure stack preferred) Broad understanding of typical corporate ICT operational environments in Australia, finance Sound critical thinking & problem solving skills, the ability to match and deliver ICT operational solutions to organizational goals independently or as part of a team Well developed written & verbal communication skills.
