Design at Upflowy Our team is on a mission to build and scale the most powerful engagement platform for every business in the world. As the Product Designer you will work closely with our CEO, product leadership, and engineers to help execute on our vision, define what that future looks like. We're seeking a Product Designer with deep experience and knowledge in the product and startup space to collaborate with a small but growing team of design, software, systems and test engineers, that range from interns to experts. Passion, quality, clarity and drive are all needed in this new and exciting role as our first product hire. Role Responsibilities Design for the present and the future - help provide clarity for product vision and future design direction. Brainstorm and lead the discovery and ideation for some of our biggest product opportunities to help paint the picture of the possibilities. Innovate on the Upflowy platforms, making it even easier for our passionate users to bring inspiring ideas to life and build on them. Work closely with your cross-functional team to create and then communicate plans with stakeholders. Provide feedback and reviews of work for your team members to support growth and alignment. Be the voice of the user, create empathy, and derive insights through feedback and interviews to then identify and propose changes to our products or design patterns. Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing to build high-impact products Develop a deep understanding of user behaviour and needs related to your product areas, through user research, data analysis and other sources of customer feedback. Build low fidelity wireframes and user flows to map out core experiences. Required Experience and Background Strong experience in Figma, including managing component and design libraries. Experience as a Product/UX/UI designer building and shipping applications or software. Experience managing component and design systems in Figma for scalable and repeatable design delivery. A self-starter who thrives in environments where they can take the initiative and own hard problems through to impactful outcomes. Comfortable diving into ambiguous product problems, working closely with engineering teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A passion for solving user problems and creating simple solutions - creating user flows and wireframes that improve user interactions. You can balance big picture thinking with research, data and specific solution detail.
