The Design Engineer will play a key role, contributing to the design, manufacture and on going support of products and their end use. Position Summary We are currently seeking a Design Engineer to join the team. This role is an active member of the Technical Department, contributing to the design, manufacture and ongoing support of products and their end use. This position plays an important role, contributing towards the integration of fire-retardant manufactured materials into construction. Key Responsibilities: To complete 3D designs and manufacturing drawings, including supporting calculations where necessary, to meet design specifications Update app with new systems and drawings Design of technical documents, such as install manuals, technical product statements and technical bulletins Keep the website updated with product and technical information Create a range of content across a variety of platforms eg. install videos and other media and animations Contribute new ideas for design and problem solving to achieve increased performance, improve ease of use, or to generate a cost reduction Take personal responsibility for actively learning and developing the skills and knowledge required to fulfil the role Follow policies and procedures in conjunction with the quality management system Candidate Requirements: Degree or Diploma qualified in Mechanical or Design Engineering or similar discipline Proficient CAD/3D modelling user with experience in Sketchup, solidworks, revit and blender Experience with wordpress Enthusiasm and creativity Proactive and able to manage own workload Ability to work autonomously What’s On Offer Cohesive and dynamic team with an innovative approach Strong focus on culture, support and development Competitive salary
