About the Role This position contributes to teaching, research, research training, and community engagement within the Social Work discipline. You will be responsible for teaching and coordinating social work practice skills subjects. All social work subjects are deeply rooted in professional practice, with close collaboration with the professional community in the Illawarra, South Western Sydney, and Shoalhaven regions. Your teaching responsibilities will require a scholarly approach to content delivery and practice skills development, incorporating evidence-based pedagogy and methods, including flexible delivery, simulation, and inclusive practices. You will also play a key role in developing social work research and teaching programs by collaborating on research projects with academic colleagues, community, and industry partners. This includes creating curricula that meet TEQSA and professional accreditation standards, fostering effective partnerships with the community, social work professionals, government and non-government agencies, and facilitating productive collaborations across the university with academic colleagues and research institutes.
