About the role: We are seeking a Director of Value Based Healthcare to drive DHSV’s ongoing transformation and systemic implementation of value-based health and care (VBHC). The role will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy for the ongoing transformation and systematic imbedding of the principles of value-based health and care across Victoria. Advocating on behalf of DHSV the role will support the positioning of DHSV as a thought leader in VBHC. By living the values of accountability, collaboration, respect and transform, the Director of Value Based Health Care, in collaboration with our stakeholders will build a learning organisation that researches and implements world leading practices in value based oral health and care. Key responsibilities include: In collaboration and under the direction of the Chief Oral Health Advisor (COHA), lead, develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the ongoing transformation and systematic imbedding of the principles of value-based health and care within DHSV and across Community Oral Health Agencies. Develop and maintain high level relationships to support partnership development that would have the greatest impact in contributing to the strategic direction and enhance DHSV’s reputation as a leader in value-based health and care. In collaboration with the COHA, lead the development of research initiatives in-line with DHSV research and evaluation strategy to build the evidence base for value-based health and care. Develop and grow professional working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders, including government, Universities and post-secondary providers, public health agencies, industry bodies and other organisations connected to the DHSV strategic direction and are of significance to DHSV’s value-based journey. Advise the Executive on issues of strategic significance including government priorities, national and international trends in value-based health and care and such developments as may influence DHSV’s value based transformational journey. A bit about you: Tertiary qualifications in business strategy, public health, business management or related field. 5 years’ senior management experience in developing and implementing strategy in a complex organisation undergoing a climate of reform and continual change. Extensive knowledge of the principles and drivers of value-based health and care, and experience in the implementation of value-based health care principles within an organisation. Why work at DHSV?
