Due to increased consumer demand, we are seeking a Part-time Administration & Consumer Response Officer to join Windermere on a permanent basis. This fundamental and dynamic role will empower you to provide an effective and consumer focused administrative activities to ensure day to day operational needs are met for the VRU. The purpose of the Victim Response Unit (VRU) is to provide intake, assessment, and rapid response to the presenting needs of victims of crime against the person. Victim Response workers provide a timely and trauma informed response that ensures victims feel listened to, are provided with relevant information, and where appropriate have their needs met within the context of the VRU without proceeding to allocation for ongoing recovery support. This role provides administrative support to the functions of the VRU and the overall VAP program as directed. Desired Skills and Experience Now, let’s talk about this exciting opportunity Key Selection Criteria: Demonstrated administration experience, including the ability to document and develop administrative processes High level ability to develop statistical and service reports. Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint, Access Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn in a rapidly changing environment Demonstrated teamwork skills Demonstrated time management and organizational skills Willingness to undertake new administration tasks as the role develops considering the time demands of the position Willingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe and accessible. Current Victorian Drivers’ Licence. Willingness to undertake relevant pre-employment screening and checks.
