Our client is seeking an exceptional Property and Leasing Administrator with experience in the commercial property industry to support their dedicated and collaborative property department. This department manages a vast portfolio of owned and subleased properties while undertaking various property projects. You will manage and maintain property data, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, support ongoing projects and maintenance, and drive improvements in systems and processes. Duties: Work within a collaborative and friendly team under a supportive Operations Manager. Support the property team in day-to-day portfolio management and assist with system support by maintaining electronic registers . Support the team in managing leases, licenses, and berthing agreements. Prepare end-of-month finance accruals for outstanding items. Handle entry and recovery of outgoings, such as council rates, water rates, and land tax, coordinating with third parties as needed. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Oversee the tenant inbox, ensuring timely responses and resolution of queries. Conduct market rent reviews and manage annual rent escalations. Facilitate tenant move-ins and ensure a smooth onboarding process. Generate reports to validate and ensure the accuracy of all existing and new lease and license data within the property management system. Routinely monitor data accuracy to ensure consistency and reliability across all systems. Develop, implement, and manage internal systems and processes to verify the integrity of data in the property management system, including upgrades when required. Part-time, 3-day-a-week position (Monday to Wednesday), with a hybrid option to work from home one day a week. $100,000 packaged pro rata ($60,000 package), plus salary packaging. Completed tertiary qualifications or relevant technical experience in property management. A strong understanding of property outgoings and the recovery process, combined with knowledge of valuation principles, to make a meaningful impact in this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (including macros), Outlook, and Crystal Reporting, along with experience using property management software systems. Strong understanding and ability to confidently interpret leases, licenses, and other legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
